Given the fact that Palm Jumeirah is not only a residential island, it also is a tourist destination, it is key to note that its public transport infrastructure is one of the latest, and safest means of transportation. This includes Palm Jumeirah Monorail, the Dubai Metro, trams and buses.
The Palm Jumeirah Monorail connects the Atlantis hotel in Palm Jumeirah to the Gateway station at the entrance of The Palm. It takes about 10 minutes to get from Atlantis to the Gateway. It is also worth noting that there are 5 stations servicing the Palm Monorail: Al Ittihad Park Station, Nakheel Mall Station, the Atlantis Aquaventure Station, the Palm Gateway Station, and the Pointe Station.
As for metro stations, there aren't any Palm Jumeirah Metro stations, however, there is a metro station near Palm Jumeirah, such as Dubai Internet City and Nakheel.
